About IPMR

IPMR is a non-profit comprehensive medical rehabilitation center dedicated to improving patient physical function and quality of life.

We employ full-time board-certified physicians and more than 120 physical, occupational and speech therapists and therapist assistants, as well as gerontologists, exercise specialists, nurses and a PhD clinical psychologist.

Founded in 1950, IPMR provides inpatient and outpatient therapy at 18 locations throughout Central Illinois. Our physicians practice at all four Peoria area hospitals and conduct clinic office days at numerous outlying hospitals.

IPMR participates in most payor networks. The Institute also provides therapy for skilled nursing facilities and for home health agencies, as well as therapy in public schools.

Comprehensive specialty programs

Our complete range of services includes 63 separate therapies with 6 programs that are availble nowhere else in the Peoria area. In addition, we offer unique wellness programs such as acupuncture, massage therapy, specialty exercise and Senior World Adult Day Services.
