School-based Services

Central Illinois offices: Peoria, Morton, Washington, Pekin, Bartonville, Metamora & Chillicothe

For many years, IPMR has provided physical, occupational and speech therapists to area school districts through contractual agreements.  IPMR staff certified in early childhood intervention are able to identify children who may have special needs due to physical impairments or language development delays.

IPMR also provides physical therapy staff for Easter Seals, serving children throughout Peoria and surrounding communities.

The IPMR Driving Evaluation program is utilized by schools to help determine whether a student with physical limitations has the functional abilities needed for driving, whether they can safely participate in the behind-the-wheel component of driver's education, or what types of adaptative equipment they need to drive safely.
