Adult Day Services are provided in an inviting community setting to help frail and disabled adults remain in their own home or with family/caregivers for as long as possible.

IPMR Senior World gives families and caregivers a positive alternative to institutionalization for loved ones who do not need continuous nursing care. It is also an option for those who are in, or are considering, an assistive living environment, but who may tend to isolate themselves from the social and physical activities offered.

IPMR Senior World is the only adult day services program in the Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford tri-county area recognized by the Illinois Department on Aging. We were the first Illinois adult day services program to receive accreditation from CARF, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.

Ours is a not-for-profit agency, and we are fortunate to have had a successful capital campaign which allowed us to build a specially-designed facility just for adult day services. From the activity areas to the exercise room to the outdoor patio garden, Senior World is designed to be inclusive, accessible and secure.

The program staff includes specialized rehabilitation professionals with expertise in gerontology, physical therapy, social work, counseling, nursing, rehabilitation, personal care assistance, recreational and activity therapy.
