Memory Clinics

A Memory Clinic is held on Tuesdays at IPMR's Downtown Peoria office. Appointments can be made by calling (309) 692-8670.

The Memory Clinic offers evaluations, for you or a loved one, to better understand the reasons you may be experiencing memory loss. Early and accurate diagnosis of memory problems allows for treatment of reversible disorders, and better management of conditions such as Alzheimer's disease. This assessment takes approximately one-hour and includes:

  • Initial physical evaluation by an M.D. to examine physical causes for memory loss
  • Comprehensive family and individual history
  • Family conference, with information on community resources

 Call 495-4530 for more information.
