Senior World News Flash!
Congratulations to David Evans, volunteer at Senior World, for receiving the annual “Because We Care Award” from the Central Illinois Agency on Aging!
Senior World Programs and Services
With the individual, family and advice of physicians, we develop a secure and appropriate program of care.
Healthful daily routines include living assistance, therapeutic activities, excercise and socializing in a secure and professionally supervised environment. IPMR Senior World provides:
- Daytime Activities
- Physical Assistance
- Emotional Support
- Therapeutic Stimulation
- Health Monitoring
- Nutritious Meals
- Counseling and Referrals
- Opportunities for Socialization
Who is eligible?
Senior World serves older adults from Peoria, Tazewell and Woodford counties in central Illinois. All program applicants are evaluated individually. Scheduling depends on participant needs and transportation availability. Senior World admits and treats all eligible persons without regard to race, creed, color, national origin, disability or age.
What transportation options exist?
Senior World staff work very hard to help families and individuals access reliable transportation to and from our facility. We work with Peoria’s CityLift, as well as WeCare and other public and private transportation providers, to optimize the families’ choices.
Can I afford Senior World?
Senior World is committed to affordable care. We participate with the Illinois Community Care Program, the Department of Veterans' Affairs, the Central Illinois Agency on Aging Respite program and long-term care insurance plans. Many families pay privately because of the great value Senior World offers for their loved ones relative to in-home care or institutionalization. Our staff will gladly discuss our costs and help you explore funding options if needed.
